The traditional wedding ring has a white diamond but newer movements include the use of a colored diamond for these big occasions, like jewelry made with champagne diamonds. Along with this shift towards natural colored stones there has been increasing interest in uncut diamonds. This type does not exhibit the glimmer of the polished version, rather it possess a distinct, rustic beauty. The environmental movement might be influencing jewelry trends taking us back to the basics or it may be the natural progression of the jewelry industry. Either way it allows for a fun choice in the jewelry world.
